Welcome to K&D Cleaning! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our cleaning services, website, and related offerings. By booking or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
K&D Cleaning (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services. Specific services (e.g., standard cleaning, deep cleaning, add-ons such as fridge/oven cleaning) are described in your booking confirmation.
- Services must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or partner platforms (such as Thumbtack).
- We reserve the right to confirm or decline bookings based on availability.
- A valid credit or debit card must be placed on file at booking. We use a secure Stripe Checkout link to collect card details, which are stored securely.
- Cards on file are not charged at the time of booking. Payment is processed after service is completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Clients may cancel or reschedule with at least 12 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice are subject to a $50 cancellation fee, which will be charged to the card on file.
- We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services due to emergencies, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.
- Payment is due at the time of service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, Zelle, Venmo, and cash.
- Late payments may be subject to additional fees.
- Provide safe access to the service location at the scheduled time.
- Secure valuables and fragile items before service.
- Notify us of any special conditions (pets, allergies, security alarms, hazardous materials).
- We carry out services with reasonable care and skill.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage due to unstable fixtures/furniture.
- Our liability for damages is limited to the cost of the service provided.
Third-Party Platforms & API Data
If you contact us through Thumbtack or another third-party platform, we may access limited information about you (such as name, contact details, or messages) as provided by that platform. We use this data only for the purpose of providing our services. In the event of any unauthorized access or data breach, we will promptly notify Thumbtack and affected users and fully cooperate with any required investigation.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We may refuse or discontinue services if a client violates these Terms, provides unsafe working conditions, or engages in abusive behavior.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
